"Booking Was Easy Enough, Eventually"
I got my tickets online without too much hassle, which was nice. The site decided to take its sweet time during checkout, but I guess patience is part of the experience now. In the end, everything worked fine.

"Cafe was kind of a letdown"
I stopped by the cafe after checking out the gallery, and it was a bit disappointing. The place looks nice, but we still ended up waiting in the queue for way longer than expected, especially since it didn’t even seem that busy. The food was just okay and felt expensive for what you get. It’s a nice space to sit in, but the whole dining experience definitely needs some work.

"I stopped by the AGO gift shop after..."
I stopped by the AGO gift shop after checking out the exhibits and somehow ended up wandering around way longer than I meant to. They had a really nice mix of cards, books, prints, and little gifts that actually felt thoughtful instead of the usual generic museum stuff.
The staff were friendly and let me browse without hovering, which I appreciated. Some of the prices were a little ridiculous, but I guess that’s kind of expected at a museum shop. I still found a nice print for a friend and would definitely pop in again

"Support was okay, but I felt a bit overlooked"
Customer service was helpful when they finally got back to me, but I felt a little ignored at times. It wasn’t a terrible experience, just kind of frustrating waiting around and feeling like I had to push to get a response.

"I’ve been to a handful of events through..."
I’ve been to a handful of events through ago.ca now, they’ve been a good fit for what I look for. I’m a bit particular about events feeling organized without being too stiff, and so far they’ve hit that balance well. The calendar is simple to browse, and I like that there’s a decent mix of talks, music, and family-friendly options.

The last event I went to started right on time, which I always appreciate, and the staff were helpful in a low-key way. Nothing felt overdone or confusing, just easy and enjoyable. For me, that makes a big difference, and I’d definitely go again.

Getting there by streetcar was really easy, so at least the location has that going for it. Transit was simple and convenient, which was definitely appreciated

"Great exhibits, just a little too crowded at times"
I went to check out the exhibits most of them were really well done. You can tell a lot of thought went into the setup, and there were a few displays that really pulled me in. The only downside was that some of the rooms got crowded, so it was a little hard to slow down and fully enjoy everything. Still, the overall quality was really impressive, and I’d happily go back. I left feeling glad I went, just wishing I’d had a bit more space to take it all in.

"The AGO membership passes my value test"
I got an ago membership this year, it’s been more worth it than I expected. I’m picky about what I’ll actually pay for regularly, but this one makes sense. Being able to drop in whenever without thinking about the ticket price is a big plus. Sometimes I’ll just go for an hour, wander a bit, and leave feeling like it was still totally worth it. If you’re in Toronto and like having an easy cultural outing on hand, it’s a solid perk.

"Pretty easy to get around"
I don’t remember every little detail about the place, but I do remember the signs being really helpful. They made it easy to figure out where I needed to go without feeling lost.

"It’s a nice place overall, but they..."
It’s a nice place overall, but they could’ve handled the crowd flow better. The area near the main exhibits was especially messy, and it felt like everyone was just getting pushed into the same spots. The staff tried to help a bit, which I appreciated, but after a while it just got tiring.

"Great first impression with lots to explore"
My first impression of Art Gallery of Ontario was really positive. Before heading to the gallery, I spent some time browsing the site and was surprised by how much they had listed. The collection felt really broad, with everything from older paintings to modern work and some really interesting Canadian pieces too.
It was easy to jump between different styles, and I never felt like I was scrolling through the same kind of thing over and over. I went in not knowing a ton, but I ended up saving a few pieces I wanted to check out in person. Really nice mix overall, and definitely a 5-star experience for me

"We took our two kids on..."
We took our two kids on a rainy Sunday and had a easy time. The staff were friendly, getting around with the stroller wasn’t a hassle, and the hands-on areas kept the kids entertained longer than I thought they would.

The food was maybe a little on the pricey side, and a few rooms did get a bit busy at times, but nothing that ruined the day. Overall, it was a really nice family visit and a good way to spend a wet afternoon.

I stopped by last weekend, and as someone who’s picky about cleanliness, I really appreciated how well-kept everything was. Even the washrooms were spotless, which says a lot. It was just nice to walk around without seeing mess anywhere.

I stopped by the AGO the whole place were really comfortable. There was lots of room to move around, the seating was nice, and it didn’t feel too loud or busy. I could take my time walking through without feeling rushed at all.

"We already had tickets, but still ended up..."
We already had tickets, but still ended up waiting a really long time just to get through admission. The line barely moved, and it kind of felt like the staff weren’t totally sure what was going on. Once we were inside, things were mostly fine, but the rough start definitely put a damper on the visit.
